Amid a host of medal winners, in the vets category, pride of place goes to Mark Ward who won Gold in the BMAF Championships in the M40 400.

In the U15s, Leo Rowley is ranked 3rd in the country in the shot. He took gold in the Yorkshire Champs and Northern indoors, silver in the Northern Championships outdoors and 4th in the English Schools. He then went north of the border to take silver in the Scottish U16 championships! To add to this he won gold in the discus at the Yorkshire and Northern Championships and is the Yorkshire Champion in the Javelin.

Bronze for Sarah Zintchem (U13G 80), Amber OMalley (U17W Shot), Sam Johnson (SW 1500) and Regan OConnell (U13B 100 & 200),

Derbyshire Championships

Silvers for Ryan Beale (U17M 3000) and Nicholas Myers (U20M 3000).

Bronze for Ryan Beale (U17M 1500).

Northern Championships

Gold for Luke Cotter (U20M 5000)

Silver for Holly Rodgers (U17W Hammer), Nicholas Myers (U20M 5000)

Bronze for Emma Dutton (U20W 3000)

Bill Renshaw continued his medal haul with gold in shot and discus and silver in the hammer at the Derbyshire Championships, silver in discus and bronze in shot at the BMAF champs, silver in discus at the Brit Masters Champs and bronze in shot, discus and javelin at the Midland Masters Champs

Ian Cooley also took silver in the hammer and javelin at the Northern Vets AC Champs as well as travelling to compete in the European Masters indoor and outdoor championships
